The solution doesn't work if you have formGroupName or formArrayName as your parent control in the parent component (basically the nested forms).

Could you please share a bit more information about your case? As I understand, you have a parent component with the root form. In that form you have a group. Are you trying to split the group's content in different components? If so, what are the nested elements?
